Suitable for small webcams or microphones with small cameras, but not suitable for professional omnidirectional or condenser microphones, no counterweight, with any massive microphone the stand tips over very easily (samson Q2U/audio technica ATR2020) or any other heavy condenser mic, the cable clamps just broke (both) on first use, the mic mount/threads are plastic not metal so I wouldn't trust mounting an expensive mic to this mount. I wouldn't recommend it if your mic is heavy, for any other light application it will probably do.
