Finished the job after a little extra effort.
From the beginning I want to say that in the end this drive worked. It wasn't a new drive, as I said, and if it was, it wasn't in a clean environment. Also for the XBOX ONE X I had to remove an extra piece of plastic from the front of the drive to fit the XBOX case (last photo, old drive on the right, new drive on the left). As I said, it finally worked, but with some effort.
