ideal if you need something permanent
I bought these to attach a tow chain in or above my garage. It holds about 300 pounds of tools and a few people booting up to boot. I've recently bought a few more to attach my rope/line when I'm working in weird spots on the roof and it helps my weight slightly. I'd say 300 pounds of holding power is conservative, but it's probably a good rule of thumb for safety. But I think the beam will break out of my wall before this thing breaks.
