This thing looks like a dance floor for cats. They run out of another room, jump up, scratch like a maniac, then jump off and run away. It's really fun to see them enjoying it. One note: the cardboard is a bit flimsy compared to some other scratchers, but that's probably why they love it so much. A similar scratching post made of more durable cardboard (doesn't leave much dirt, seems more robust) is not very popular with cats. I will buy replacements if needed, this is a fun scratching post for my cats.
