It fits very well and my head is big. It likes to slide backwards but I was also wearing a different hat so maybe that was just that. However it is light and breathable, I ran in it for hours in the 85 degree heat and I was fine. Of course he was noticeably hotter, but not by much, and it was better than a sunburn. I'm not sure what they have with the cheek area. They're like a group behind the ears, I don't know how to describe it. I don't know if that's supposed to make it better or if it's supposed to leave room for headphones or something, but it's weird. It fits well and doesn't look different, just weird.
