Pretty uncomfortable. Anyone who wears a mug will tell you that it's uncomfortable on a regular basis. Sometimes you do it right I got lucky with my previous pair of Shock Doctor shorts. They have outlasted Under Armor shorts (not really a shock to me...I work in the apparel industry). The cup is very uncomfortable and difficult to put back in properly due to the way they use the cup holder. I can cut off the top. It makes absolutely no sense. The reviewers who say it's good for their kids obviously don't know what it's like. One of the positives is that there are essentially two pairs of shorts. The inner lining allows the pads to detach from the body. I hope I get used to them. Quite expensive!
