Review on FLB FORELIBRA Electronic Analytical Industrial by Rashan Jimenez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

That scale rests on my shoulders...

I received this item for free as a Revain Vine reviewer and this is my honest review. I only request items that I actually use and will use before writing a review. As usual, I buy a lot of silver and gold. I have a small jewelry scale for weighing rings, necklaces and the like. And I have a very large scale to count when a coffee can full of silver coins comes in. But small scales are too small to weigh more than 10 troy ounces, and large scales are impractical when we need to check large weights. . And since we weigh everything right in front of the buyer when we make a purchase, I needed a scale that would fit between my two existing ones. It should weigh up to 100 ounces and be small enough to be easily moved. Wow, this 5000 gram Forelibra scale is a treat. Out of the box, I was impressed with the build quality. The body is heavy ABS, not cheap flimsy plastic, and the tray's support arm is heavy die-cast metal (as shown). It has four rubber bumpers, and its design allows you to use a larger tray or high-sided pan when weighing small, loose items. The scale comes with a well-made stainless steel pan (pictured). This tray fits on top of and over the support brackets and is very secure once in place or can be used upside down giving it a small ¼ inch lip for storing items, powders etc. But it can also be easily removed for cleaning or other purposes. or pot, as already mentioned. I really like this design feature. The next bonus is the included battery (it's also removable if you ever need a spare). You can use this scale with the included AC adapter (which is also used to charge the battery) on battery power or AC power. Thus, these scales are completely wireless. I've been using this for about 3 weeks and so far I've got half the battery life as shown on the battery gauge (another nice feature). The electric scale goes through a short start-up sequence and is ready for use. I love this ad. It's a beautiful blue backlit LCD with huge numbers, I mean you can see it from across the room. Don't confuse 6 with 8 or misread the decimal. The display is also at a comfortable angle for easy reading and the control buttons are at the bottom. There is a spirit level to the left of the display. You can use the four large feet that can be screwed in and out to adjust the height to level this scale perfectly if needed. This scale also comes with a 1000 gram calibration weight which I love as other scales I've bought in the past say. how to calibrate but not provide weight. After charging I unpacked it and put a 1000g weight on it just to see how well it was factory calibrated. It showed 0.91g (pictured), which I think is damn close. But I went ahead and calibrated it by simply pressing the "Calibrate" button and using the included weight. After recalibrating, I put a 100 ounce silver bar on the scale (pictured). After calibration, the manufacturer's declared accuracy is within 0.01 grams. This scale has other features such as an RS232 port for data export, counting and weight percentage functions. As I do at the end of all my reviews. I wonder if I would really buy this item. Yes, I will definitely buy this scale. I find it very good value for money and will continue to use it regularly.
