Pros This is the first Gen 4 NVME drive I own, having previously owned several generations of M.2 -Owned 3rd generation drives from Samsung, Western Digital and Intel. The I/O speed is excellent, as you would expect from such a fast SSD. I can copy hundreds of gigabytes of files back and forth with minimal latency. You may be wondering if you need a 4th Gen NVME SSD as the previous gen still offers great performance and is cheaper. But if you're looking for speed and you've invested in the AMD X570 platform, this is one of its high-tech assets. Also XPG has a really reasonable price point in my opinion which is the 1TB model of the 4. Any caution I had about not buying my usual brands is gone as this drive was great and with a 5 year warranty Guaranteed in case something worse should happen. Ease of installation. Just one screw and no SATA data or power cables to worry about. Cons: cooler is ugly. It's a plain gray color that you're hoping will disappear on your motherboard. It doesn't have the colorful RGB of the XPG Spectrix line, which you may or may not want for RGB, and I personally don't mind the lack of ligation. But the painlessness may put off those who want every component to be spectacular. I installed this drive under my graphics card so I don't have to look at it as there's nothing fancy in the appearance department.
