This lamp is attractive. Well made and functional for our farmhouse's industrial decor, but can work well in a variety of settings. It emits plenty of light as it uses six standard 60W base bulbs. We chose LEDs for daylight because it is a dining room/kitchen light and we needed a lot of light. It was perfect for us! You can use the Edison style bulbs as shown in the picture or the 60w round bulb bulbs we used or the smaller 40w ambient bulbs if you like and it will be just as nice . Now for the bad. Obviously everything was in the metric system so my husband had to go to the store and buy standard gauge materials so he could install them in our late 1950's home. Luckily we know how to mod. But what should have taken him an hour to an hour and a half ended up taking about 5+ hours including leaving and walking to the hardware store etc. He told me he would never order anything like this again without checking me out and seeing if it was Is standard or metric 😂 it's nice and he likes it but it was a hassle to install. Hiring an electrician might be smart, but we're good at DIY, so go for it. In the end it's nice and we're happy, but it took almost all of Saturday.
