Works as intended. I bought an enclosure for my SSD (850 evo) that uses a USB-C 3 connection (one end like this, the other end USB 3. Both are classified as USB-C in terms of performance and, like me, have have researched, the same speeds through this or another cable). However, I wanted both ends to be like this as my laptop has limited USB ports. The case model I'm using is Orico 2.5" USB-C (also bought here) and I had to buy this cable separately but they said it would work. I'm happy with its performance, length and quality. I Didn't test it but the apps I've used via desktop now load noticeably faster on my laptop Accompany purchases with thank you emails etc so I'm glad I paid more for it than, say, a competitor that owns an entire website that we all know *cough-cough* reviews speak for themselves.
