The product came out of packaging with a slight manufacturing smell. So I put it on the porch for the night, having previously opened it up a bit to air it out. The next morning the smell was gone. It took about 15 minutes to assemble, a bit tedious but fairly easy. The instructions are a little "English" and could use some revision, but I could only tell from the pictures. It seems more durable than I expected as it has suction cup feet and aluminum side rails. My little one really digs for the included rings to pull himself up.
