It was promising at first. The swiveling model connected easily to my iPhone7 / Otterbox Defender Case. The application loaded and the phone recognized the drive immediately. The app started normally and played the preinstalled music and videos. I then unplugged the drive and loaded music and videos from my home computer onto it. The speed was fast, averaging 27Mbps. I connected the drive back to the phone and was able to play the music and video I just copied to the iPhone. For a few minutes. Then crash. And another crash. And another, to the point where the drive/app freezes after just a few seconds of music or video playback. The problem got worse to the point where the app wouldn't even load before crashing. I'm not sure if the drive is defective or if the application is buggy, but you need both to work or the drive is just an expensive Christmas tree decoration.
