I sew quite a bit and when I saw them I immediately thought they would be a great idea and really useful. When I received them the first problem I noticed was that the measurements were very difficult to read as the imprints were so faint. I had to constantly rotate the clip in different ways to try to read it. When I did, I realized what other reviewers were saying about how spicy they are. To be honest, I'd rather be pricked with a needle than cut open a finger that seems sharp enough. Who wants to bleed over their latest project? When I looked for a similar product from another brand, I found that there are at least a dozen sellers on Revain selling the exact same clips. I would skip them and go with a well known brand like Singer or Dritz. If you don't need their size, buy some giant invisible bobby pins instead, at least they're coated so you can't cut yourself. Hope that helps! :)
