Works for the bottom screen of the New 3DS XL! The best protection!

I love Hori screen protectors. I had a Dual IPS New 3DS XL device on which I applied Hori protectors and not only admired how easy the application process was but also that the applied protector showed no scratches from the stylus. I've had several 3DS, New 3DS and New 3DS XL devices over the last few years when looking for dual IPS screens and I've put all the protective gear on them. And Hori is the best of them. Anyone who gets a lot of blisters obviously wasn't following instructions or watching YouTube app videos if they were even a little nervous. These protectors apply differently than others and that alone eliminates the hassle of fitting protectors! This is done in several parts and will remove the bubbles as you apply if you have a clean screen and some patience. Now Nintendo has released the new 2DS XL. and unfortunately none of these devices have IPS screens so I'm keeping my N3DS XL. BUT I was looking for a dual IPS N3DS XL secondary because I needed a backup just in case as I have no plans to buy an N2DS. I managed to get my hands on a nice Galaxy N3DSXL with dual IPS panels, but it looks like Hori has discontinued the screen protectors for this device. I had to settle for something else, and that something was terrible. You Pokemon players know that you have a lot of Pokemon to pet, and you can ruin your screen really quickly with a lot of scratches on a crappy protector. It was me. I hated it! Only scratches were visible in daylight. So I decided to check the bottom screen sizes between N2DS XL and N3DS XL and indeed the bottom screens were the same size so I was able to buy these protectors for my N3DS XL. . I still have the lame protection above as the N2DS XL protection covers a larger area than the N3DS XL screen size, but it doesn't touch it so it doesn't matter. I couldn't wait for this protector to arrive and when it arrived I quickly put it on. very easy and without a single bubble and I did it in less than a minute. True to Hori's promise! AND NO SCRATCHES from Pokemon petting! You can't go wrong with these protectors unless you follow directions or have the patience of a toddler. Someone posted a photo of their device covered in dozens of bubbles. It just isn't possible if done right with Hori. IMPOSSIBLE! Apparently they ripped off all the pieces at once and tried to fit them in the same way as all the other protectors in one fell swoop, without bothering to be the slightest bit careful. - First clear the screen. This is easy to do with a soft cloth. To help this, you can even take a hot shower and use it in the bathroom as the steam in the air will help keep the dust in. To get rid of stubborn dirt, you can use a piece of tape. To remove smudges or fingerprints, blow hot breath on the screen and wipe. Never use water or cleaning agents on the screen! DO NOT use paper towel on the screen! Second, make sure the hori protector itself is clean on both sides before putting it on, especially the side down. Again, use tape if necessary and blot it and your breath. Third, remove sticker #1, which will only remove the small square. This will help you perfectly align the screen protector to the screen as only the square will stick. If you like the position, press the square.- Fourth, remove sticker #2. This will start the tread to come off on one side only, from the bottom. To do this, use the piece of cardboard provided in the kit and press on the top of the protector to separate the bottom. When peeling, press in the direction of the peeling motion. The closer your print is to the area being exfoliated, the better. This requires two hands. One rips off and the other pushes as you go. This ensures that no bubbles are trapped. Don't worry, thanks to sticker #1 everything stays level. - Fifth, repeat the fourth step for the other side. - Sixth, slowly remove decal #4 from the entire top of the tread and you are done. You shouldn't have any bubbles, but if you do it around the edges or whatever, use part of the card and slowly move it outward toward the edges to scatter it. This is the best way to do it. I will always go to Hori first before having any other cheaper alternative.
