Review on Unleash Epic Adventures with LEGO Legendary Mountain Building Set by William Hood

Based on the Chinese novels Journey to the West and The Monkey King, Monkey Baby was created by Lego as the first introduction to Chinese culture. The Lego set was released alongside the TV series, which is now easily available on Revain Kids+. I built it with my 5 year old son who really enjoyed watching the show along with the build and while it's definitely too hard for him to do on his own it was a lot of fun putting it together. This particular set (#80024: Legendary Flower Fruit Mountain) was an exciting build with bright and vibrant colors and lots of different areas that were fun without too much repetition. This set contains 8 great looking minifigures including 4 different Monkey Kings from different walks of life, Monkey Baby, Sister Monkey and Brother and last but not least the Angry Macaque. Love the buildable waterfall and hidden cave, they really show the creativity and Lego quality you'd expect. The mix of green, blue and gray was just beautiful. Overall I think this is the crown jewel of the Lego Monkie Kid sets, which will be great fun for my kids as a playset but will also make a great display piece due to the beautiful variety of colors and textures.
