Use a 10 foot glass cleaner to remove glass residue from windows and 10 foot automotive tape. ($65)

This product is amazing! It fits my 2020 BRZ perfectly. Rubbing alcohol and glass cleaner do not remove cleaning and wax residue well enough to ensure good adhesion. For a secure hold, consider purchasing a 3M spray cleaner to remove protective polymers from the glass surface (apply with a rag to avoid damaging the paint). 1) Clean the edges of the glass from the remnants (otherwise the stem will come off. 2) Install all the fittings on the blinds in the following order; Mounting Bracket, Rubber Gasket, Blinds, Rubber Gasket, Metal Washer, Screw. Now stick a piece of double-sided tape or 3m of double-sided tape to the underside of the mounting brackets. 3) Carefully attach the blinds to the rear window starting from the alignment with the top. 4) Unscrew the blinds from the fittings, remove the blinds, press each fitting bracket evenly to the edges. 5) Stick double-sided tape along the top and bottom inside edges of the blinds (leave space for brackets) (Apply 3-5 coats of tape until the tape is deep enough to protrude to the surface of the inside edge, this will require approx 35ft 3m double-sided automotive molding tape 1-1.5" wide). 6) Remove the protective film and install the shutters on the devices installed in the previous steps. Look in through the vents and press the tape along the top inside edges to ensure even adhesion. Press along the lines of the tape to the top and bottom edges. - So it sticks securely and doesn't rattle. Make sure you have grommets on both sides of the blinds or they won't fit properly and will rattle. - If you don't buy a 3m surface prep remover your double sided tape will fail. I highly recommend using 10ft of car tape, touching it, literally peeling off the nail polish, and then peeling the nails from the nail bed. This comes highly recommended and I was impressed with how strong it sticks.
