Review on Advanced Garmin HRM-PRO Heart ๐Ÿƒ Rate Transmitter: Unparalleled Accuracy and Performance by Wiktor Gajewski แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

So far, I have not identified any cons of this model for myself. Perhaps the next running season will show them again, but I really hope not. If you're looking for really detailed statistics on your workouts, right down to ground contact time, then the GARMIN HRM PRO is your go-to training companion.

Pros
  • My first serious purchase on the way to quality preparation for the sports season was the Fenix โ€‹โ€‹sports watch. All statistics were uploaded to the application instantly. However, reliable data on the pulse remained a mystery to me. At the beginning of my journey, I could hardly feel my body, and distinguishing 140 strokes from 150 was beyond my understanding. Tracking heart rate without a chest strap was a problem: I have a thin hand, and the watch periodically showed not quite reliable numbers (at least they were very different from my internal sensations). With the advent of the Garmin HRM PRO chest heart rate monitor, it has become much easier to train - to build the right workouts based on MY heart rate zones, track the dynamics of heart rate \ pace, finally see reliable numbers when skiing (since the hands constantly swing, track blows with wrist without a sensor is almost impossible). In addition to standard readings, my heart rate monitor can read vertical oscillation, ground contact time, stride length, vertical ratio, and more. I believe that this is a completely new level of data capture, which is very important when entering a high level of training, when energy savings through technology are already of paramount importance. Unfortunately, I have nothing to compare the GARMIN HRM PRO sensor with. But why unfortunately? Fortunately! Once you get used to the best, you realize that you donโ€™t agree to anything less. The heart rate monitor is very convenient to use - the elastic band made of dense material does not rub the skin (which sometimes happens with girls because of a sports top). The heart rate monitor can (and should) be washed in water and dried. By the way, for swimmers it will be relevant that the device saves heart rate data while swimming (or other activities when your watch is out of range). All data is transferred in real time via ANT+ ยฎ connection and BLUETOOTHยฎ Low Energy technology.
