Review on Upgraded Wireless Enhanced Waterproof Cancelation Headphones by Amanda Webber

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Pretty good for music, bad for calls

I bought these headphones specifically for their advertised "super clear talk and listen experience" as I wanted to use them to free myself from my work computer for meetings. Unfortunately, when I tested them: the volume of my voice on the other end was very low, even after maxing out my computer's input level; and the receiver stated that my voice sounded muffled and cavernous. A second test paired with a different device yielded the same results. As for the music, I found the sound quality to be pretty good, and my main issue is that the "boosted bass" is a bit boomy, affecting the overall tonal balance a bit. cloudy. In terms of music controls, pressing and holding left or right should scroll backwards or forwards, respectively, but for some reason it's the other way around - pressing and holding left skips forward. Left/right volume up/down indicators are displayed correctly. As for the capacitive touch controls, while these headphones are sweatproof, I've found the controls to be unresponsive when my fingers sweat during a workout. On the plus side, they feel comfortable to my ears and I like the percentage charge indicator on the front of the case.

Pros
  • ACTIVE NOISE CANCELING MICROPHONE: The built-in ANC microphone offers super clear voice and listening quality when answering calls with headphones.
Cons
  • Very expensive
