This is a really great product! It's a lot better than the rigid carrier I've had for at least 15 years when I've had cats that weighed about 15 pounds. I now have two cats and I have found that while they enjoy company in the car, they are best placed in individual cages (due to their combined weight) and pushed along the way to me. We all love it. Model. Kittens love it so much they play in it! I love it because it's lightweight and durable. Once assembled, the zippers work well - kitty can either jump over the top or use the side entrance. I can then quickly close the side entrance and my little one sits securely and comfortably. I love the lining on the bottom. This will prevent the cat from sliding down the stairs and into the car. The only small issue I had was that it was difficult to assemble at first. It consists of three separate parts - bottom, side and top. I would suggest sitting on the floor or putting two pieces on the table. Take your time to bring them together at the bottom of the zipper. Once firmly connected, the rest is a breeze.
