Maybe his old joints will appreciate not having to twist so tight. Recommendations: 1. Carefully cut the plastic shrink wrap, DO NOT cut where it is black. You end up cutting down. Update 101519: We are preparing to buy our third bed, a large one this time. An 8 lb girl and 14 lb boy are a perfect match on Wednesday. Our new 16 lb boy is a bit stretched out and needs a bigger bed. They hold up well and wash well. Great at home and outdoors! We semi-adopted a street cat who spends more time in our home than in her own. She slept on the gravel under a bush. She had previously rejected the cave bed. Well I brought it to her and she accepted it straight away! It's perfect for a cat to curl up or stretch out, and it's so soft and comfy to bake cookies with! She's in love. So I can only recommend this bed!
