Damaged my laptop resulting in a $100 repair

The black tip on the end of the connector came loose when I first used my laptop rendering the laptop unusable I had to pay $100 to have the Replacing power plug because I was trying to get a black one, the cover left on the power contact then broke the contact. This is the wrong size
