I have another USB docking station (different brand) at home, so the DisplayLink software is already installed on my laptop. Connected and everything worked without problems. I have a Lenovo T460S with UltraDock that already has 2 1920x1200 monitors. I wanted to add a third 1920x1080 but didn't want to use VGA (not as clear as a digit). This adapter met my needs. I mainly use business apps, but I've also watched full-screen tutorial videos with no lag (I don't play games, so not sure if it's suitable for that purpose).
