Big fans of Melissa & Doug Wooden toys for our kids especially food and kitchen toys as my husband is a chef and my kids love to cook! We have a birthday cake set, a wedding cake set, and a Christmas cookie set, so they're very similar to a pizza set. The pizza "clips" the Velcro together, as do the "toppings" - this set has plenty of toppings for any mushroom, pepperoni or pepper pizza combination. My only complaint is that while the pizza roller is big, it doesn't cut well, especially when the toppings get in the way. So we took the wooden knife from our cutter set and cut the pizza like a cake. This is how we cut real pizza to keep my kids happy. (They like to leave marks on the carpet with a pizza cutter instead!) Overall, I'm very happy with this playset. It's great quality, very durable for young children to play with, and relatively safe - no harmful chemicals, sharp edges or anything like that. It's colorful and quite realistic, not cartoonish, but it's obviously a toy - my 5 and 2 year olds know this is NOT real food. However, if you have a toddler who tends to put small toys in their mouths, especially anything that looks like food, remember that the "stuffing" will look very appetizing! The price is great too! At our local stores, a Melissa & Doug playset is usually around $20 and I try to shop at places that accept 20% off coupons, but with my Prime subscription it was a great deal! And these playsets make great gifts as the wooden packaging doubles as storage. (Our playsets are stacked in my kids' "kitchen" and the page says what each playset is; love this!) I highly recommend this and all Melissa & Doug wooden playsets!
