Extra Security for Car Cover

I have a vehicle that I usually store indoors for the winter but due to storage cost I am storing outdoors in my driveway. I have a cover however in the winter the cover blows around and doesn't stay on securely. I considered purchasing a better cover but while searching, I came across these straps. I decided to give them a try. So far they're holding up to the wind and snow. The straps seem very thin (but they weren't that expensive); not implying they're cheap or low quality; the straps are elastic and when stretched, they're even thinner. They are holding down the cover securely - the strap length can be adjusted however I did not shorten them as I used the extra length to tie them to the vehicle more securely. There are hooks on each end however I was not able to anchor the hooks to the vehicle. I ended up tying them around the spokes in the rims and then securing the hook underneath the strap. Overall they're doing the job. I will be interested to see if they hold their elasticity thru the winter. I'll update my review after the winter is over. In the meantime, I would recommend this product.
