Review on Zeiss Pre-Moistened Lens Cleaning Wipes, 6 x 5-Inches (Pack of 50) by Yolanda Williams

Two other reviews complained that these tissues weren't wet enough and dried too quickly. It's true that when you open them, you should be up and running quickly before they dry up. On the other hand, I've also used previous versions that were so wet that they could leave enough liquid on the camera lens to stain as the liquid dried. Zeiss has to walk a fine line here. The last thing you have to do is leave drops of the cleaner on the thin optic. I have a SensorKlear loupe that highlights absolutely any residue or film on the lens. These wipes do an excellent cleaning job when used immediately. When using them on thinly coated optics I sometimes use a pec pad to make sure they don't get wet. If I line up three pairs of glasses, I can wipe all three with a cloth. I just have to work fast. Tim
