I have long bought modern bar cabinet handles but this template is too short to use with it. If you only have grips or use "standard" (what the packaging says "standard"), i.e. less than 3 inches of tension, you're probably fine. My contractor went to a big store and bought a large flat jig that works with large cabinet pulls.
