Wow! I switched my home from a traditional cable company to a wireless system by also cutting the cable. I went from two wireless modems, one as an extender, to this TP-Link Deco M4. Two of the three apartments are on the ground floor, one on the upper floor. The radio signal in the basement works from devices on the ground floor. I used to have drawdowns and slowdowns on my ROKU sticks with traditional wireless modems. With this M4 system, I now get great WiFi on every device in the house, and there are plenty! Set up was easy, it just took a little patience as the devices were connected. Follow the prompts to connect the devices, placing them close together (in the same room) and then moving them as needed. I have a device in the back corner on the first floor that's hardwired to a cable modem in the basement. The VOIP device is also hardwired to this device and the phone cord is wired. on the phone line at home. The second M4 unit is on the other side of the house and is wirelessly connected to the first unit. It connects to a 5-port switch and powers a laptop, printer, backup hard drive, and cable to a smart TV in another room. The third M4 unit sends a signal to the top floor of the house: ROKU, cell phone (Wi-Fi plan: Republic), Alexa Point and a tablet or two. The TP-Link M4 is affordable and ideal for a home wireless system. (two old routers are croaking slowly, make necessary changes) also: any of the three devices can act as the main router, it's too easy.
