Love the way I hold and use it. It is well made and has a good weight and balance. There is a handy gel material holder which makes it easy to hold and hold without squeezing it so hard with your hand/fingers. Both pieces are beautifully made and I'm so glad I found them. I love all stainless steel metal. Those strong plastic parts are so cheap and they always break in the middle of cooking. I am so grateful to have found these items and look forward to many years of service.
