The only reason it gets 2 stars is because the build quality is really good and they do have a smudge, but otherwise I should have listened to the 1 star reviews , because the difference between this and my standard pedal is so small that there really is no difference. The pedal arm curves down a bit instead of the original, which might give you a slight feeling of being longer, but let's just say I was able to easily fit my original pedal into the molded package that the new one came in. In all my years of riding I just wish I didn't have to take my foot back and then get up to stop, in an emergency braking situation you could easily block the toe of the shoe with the end of the pedal, poor design due to HD for starters! I was hoping for a pedal that would actually move forward about 2 inches. does anyone know one I'm considering sending it back.
