Review on Women'S Mid-Height Polar Snow Boots: KEEN Revel 4 by Gerardo Goodson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good on exchange so revamping review….Hopefully a fluke

Updated Dec 2021: No further issues with eyelets or anything else. These boots are still a big brick-like but remain super warm and have great traction. I do wish they’d get tighter around ankle so snow doesn’t go down against my heel but a gaiter would take care of that. First review: I just received these boots a couple weeks ago and have really liked them. Have already put lots of miles hiking on them in icy snow and they are super warm and have good tread. They feel a bit like a brick in my opinion (which I expected of a keen) but I'm not wearing them to be comfy. Out of the box they fit well and didn't require a break in period. So I've been very pleased.until last night when I was lacing up my boots and the little eyelet on the side popped right off. I'm doing an exchange in the hopes it isn't a recurring issue. Will update my review after I've tried the new ones for a month or so.

Pros
  • Great for my feet that has arthritis.
Cons
  • The boots are not very budget-friendly, and may cost more than other similar options on the market
