The thread of this faucet is different from that of the regular faucet. The nut that screws the faucet onto the tank also screws onto the faucet with a reverse thread. This means that when installing, you start by threading the faucet nut onto the faucet body, but only the first few threads. Install the filter tube to the faucet, making sure the O-ring is firmly seated on the floor. Then start screwing the faucet into the tank while holding the faucet valve in a fixed position.
