Looks great when assembled good video/audio quality terrible software

This is a great TV for those who want a TV like this without the compromise of a large black box on the wall if it is switched off. If you're looking at this TV and its aesthetics aren't #1 or #2 on your checklist, you'd be better off getting an alternative that gives you better picture quality and interface software at a lower price. The picture quality is quite good and the TV sound is surprisingly clear and loud. Not good enough to replace the soundbar, but enough to make you think twice about not ruining the clean look on the wall. The included mounting bracket is fairly easy to install and offers a very flat and tight fit. It also has the simple but extremely useful ability to level the TV to ensure it's level once installed. Some paintings look more realistic than others depending on lighting and positioning in art mode. Enough to fool someone? no Good enough to make the wall look better than the black box on it? Yes. The software for the TV and the memory available is just terrible. The low storage is a joke (less than 2GB of usable space) and has real value compared to the amount of apps and pictures you can store on it. It also probably plays a role if apps are very slow and often freeze/gug/have trouble loading. Again, in my opinion, if your #1 or #2 priority is making this TV look good on your wall, then this can be remedied by going for Apple TV/Chromecast/Roku etc as the primary interface left to load content . Otherwise, Samsung's software has some very strange quirks and software bugs that could easily be fixed if Samsung pays some attention based on the number of issues that users have posted on their forums and the time that has passed since then. I wouldn't hold my breath if I see any of these updates coming anytime soon. A good example is that if your TV is connected to your network with an Ethernet cable, the mobile app will not be able to connect to control cover art or other settings. Switching the TV to Wi-Fi solves this problem. Samsung's response is to point out that this is a LAN issue to deflect blame rather than asking if there are differences in your home network, or considering that others have raised the exact same scenario, also because of the lack of Wi-Fi. Differences between Fi and Ethernet. It's a bug in their software that you either learn to live with or you don't. The quick connect box is a great design that only requires one fiber optic cable from TV to TV for power and all audio/video/network connections. . This allows the box to be neatly stowed away along with all the equipment you would normally need to connect to the back of your TV. The remote control is based on radio frequency, so you don't need line of sight to operate it.
