I have a Corvette z06 from 2003, I wanted bluetooth so I can listen to music from my phone and streaming services. I didn't want to modify my original radio either. This transmitter is the answer! I can also upload all my MP3 and FLAC music files to a micro SD card and control playback from the transmitter! The only thing I would change is that after maybe 5 minutes of inactivity the transmitter goes into "sleep mode" so it doesn't drain the car battery because I have to unplug it and plug it back in every time I go somewhere I go go. The sound quality is a bit better than I expected, of course it won't be CD quality, but it's good enough. A few tips for improving the sound quality: I spent a good 10 minutes trying each blank station on the radio with a suitable station and choosing the one that sounded the best (least static). Always keep the volume on the transmitter and any Bluetooth device you are using at maximum (30) and use the car radio to adjust the volume. This way you have the least static noise.
