Simple and sufficient

I think that the main problem with them is the need to adjust their own expectations. If you're expecting this to turn your trees into a climbing wall, you're probably adjusting your own expectations. They work as advertised and are sturdy. They will most likely need to band together more closely to make climbing easier. We had some slippage, which is normal when you attach yourself to a tree.
