In my humble opinion, the scent is a bit stronger. I like the way it smells but I don't like the lingering smell. It shouldn't smell like perfume/cologne and should last for a while. If this is what you prefer from your soap and love this scent, this may be the right combination for you. I prefer a light and scented soap that gives off a stronger scent as you wash your hands, but at least mostly dissipates. If it's "scented," then to me it's a bit of a scam. The aroma is pleasant. For reference, I find the basil flavor is well balanced and more in line with what I prefer.
