They move well with you and the legs don't ride up and the waist doesn't pull down. The fabric is a little thin and the compression is light but good enough for moderate activity, it dries quickly and washes well. They flex but would be fine for running without a top layer. I wish they had pockets on both sides. Order your normal size for a regular fit, order down a size if you want more compression (although this will result in more shine).
