TL;DR: This type of mounting is ideal for those who have the optimal position for it. Not everyone will have the ability to place it where they want, but if you don't have the option (or you're tired of the suckers that fall every few months after losing a sucker). This mount is for you. very well made and durable. I bought it in May, it's July now and it's still working like the day I bought it with my Samsung Galaxy S10+. The arms are very wide to accommodate many phone cases like Otterboxes, but they don't necessarily have depth, so to speak. This means if you have a pop socket on the back of your phone, this may not be the mount you need. The stand also rotates 360 degrees, which means that if you use it for your phone's GPS navigation like I do, you can rotate your phone to any orientation you like so you can see the perspective you want on the screen. There aren't many mounts that do this well enough, so I think that's a bonus. The base is very suitable for different sizes of coasters. By simply rotating the base, you can also use it in large cup holders or even other household items such as coffee mugs or glasses. In that sense it's very awesome because it allows for more use cases, which is what I'm looking for in a product like this. Your phone sits in the cup holder mount and it does it well.
