I bought this radiator to replace a leaking radiator in my 2006 Jeep Commander 4.7L 4WD. I'm sure it will be last year, but it wasn't that long ago). The replacement is very easy: 1. Drain the coolant from the radiator and dispose of it properly2. Remove grille 3. Disconnect and remove electric fan and cover assembly 4. Disconnect auxiliary cooler (e.g. A/C, power steering) from radiator5. Remove the heat sink (with care) 6. Installation is in reverse order to removal7. Fill per manufacturer's instructions (don't forget to bleed the system!) Notes:* When replacing the radiator, it's a good idea to replace the thermostat and check the integrity (check softness) of the radiator hoses.* It's time to check and/or replace your water pump , as access never gets easier. * Be sure to use the correct HOAT blended coolant on these systems; I recommend direct from the dealer.
