This is one of the softest changing mats I have ever had. It feels so good and doesn't have that scratchy texture that you get with some cotton materials. It feels so good against the skin. The fabric is soft and stretchy and you can honestly use it over a changing table, baby mattress, bassinet cushion, etc. I've tried it on a rectangular and an oval mattress and it works for both. It is very well made and sewn. I have one with an animal print and it's so adorable! The animals look like they have been drawn and painted with watercolors and they are all very cute. It doesn't look cheap or pretentious. I am very happy with this quality. Be sure to wash it before first use to avoid damaging your baby's skin.
