I bought a size 16 for 11 years and followed the directions. It was about 4 inches longer and had to be pulled over the edge of the sleeve. The light blue color we ordered differs from the color in the picture. The lining is real, but the lining has an almost mint hue, making the dress a vivid turquoise rather than a light blue. The fabric, especially the cover, is thin and looks cheap. It was only $40 so not bad for the price but we sent it back as it wasn't what we were hoping for. Super fast shipping and since it came in one package it didn't crumple a lot.
