I don't know what's wrong with this set in our house but it's definitely not non-stick. I absolutely follow the description of how to use the kit, but everything sticks. Eggs cannot be fried at all. After I'm done everything turns brown and looks awful. If something gets stuck in the pan it's impossible to remove, I soak it in water and then it eventually comes off but leaves a brown stain on the surface that WILL NOT come off. I've used copper before, it was bad too, but these are better than even this "bad" one. Maybe it has something to do with cooking on GAS. I've used very low flames so far. BAD. I would happily return this set but as it had almost 5 barrels I threw the box away - I was sure it would work. Well, not like that. They'll probably end up in the trash soon. I really wanted to like the set. Too bad.
