Don't be fooled. This is a compact portable shredder that is still powerful. I use for cutting carrots, potatoes, onions. But most of all I use it for slicing eggs for boiled eggs, leftover chicken and turkey for making sandwiches. Much easier than a knife. The only problem I feel is the lid. You have to be careful with the top of the cover when washing. You need to be careful not to get water where the charging port is. I wish they made that part of the cover more durable to cover the charging port. Apart from the problem with the charging connection, I am very satisfied with this chopper. Compact, powerful and easy to maintain
