Just now I noticed that the review abruptly ended. This laptop has served me well for almost a year now; I originally purchased it for use in academic pursuits, but now I use it for entertainment purposes as well. I still have enough juice for three or four pairs without a doubt, therefore the battery didn't die this year. However, there are some movies and TV shows that you can't watch at school since the battery dies quickly. Due to my constant tapping, a dark spot has appeared on the touchpad, but this does not disturb me in the least. The external screen mount came off when I dropped it once, but I was able to easily replace it. It becomes hot during charging, and the resulting noise can be terrible. Since I got it in one of the cheaper versions (without a keyboard backlight, which I didn't wind up needing anyway), it's not too cumbersome to carry around on a daily basis; in fact, I happily do so.
