The final blows on tomatoes are dangerous

I bought a product for slicing tomatoes. After sawing through the tomato, the last 1/4 inch is tricky - very easy to cut and possibly unavoidable if you use this tool to cut all the way through. This is partly due to the softness of the tomatoes. Probably better with other products.
