I bought two of these candles separately to replace two older versions of this candle that I have been using outdoors for several years. The old ones worked great with no problems but then one failed completely probably due to being exposed to inclement weather (MN) year round so I only got one at first but found it was even a lot brighter than the old one with new ones batteries. , so I replaced that as well so they match in brightness. Big mistake. The timer doesn't work in any of them. It works for the set time, turns off and turns on again after 8 hours. At first I thought I was imagining it when they both come back on in the morning like I screwed something up when you only have two choices: 4 hours or 8 hours. There are no other settings or adjustments. So I restarted both that night and they turned off again and turned on again 8 hours later. annoys. Also, the battery installation instructions below are incorrect. This doesn't work if you paste them after the scheme. You need to put them in opposite polarity diagrams on the candle for them to work.
