Good PDU at a good price (see details). Recommended

KF Metal socket strip with 8 sockets is very simple. Originally I wanted to hang it on the wall in my garage. My last second decision to put 20 amp circuits in the garage changed that plan a bit. Anyway, the KF strip moved into the basement to serve as PDU at one of my jobs. I appreciate the all-metal construction (some "metal" strips still have plastic end caps). I also like the exposed mounting holes on the outer flanges as I prefer this type of mounting over hidden keyholes. The distance between the sockets is fine. I even like that the block wasn't soldered into a pair of MOVs, and claim it was a surge protector. If you want it, do it right and get an AVR. Or isobar. Look, PDUs like this are a commodity right now. There are VERY few differences between the products. However, $31 (with a $3 coupon at the time of this review) is good value, so I think it's a good buy. recommended
