Do you know what would make assembly easier? If only all the details were marked! Grrr. I was able to assemble it in an hour but literally only 2 of about 20 pieces of wood were marked. I don't know how to assemble these things, so I had to take apart and reassemble a few things. If everything were labeled I would probably be most pleased with the ease of assembly. except that the last 4 screws connecting the 2 parts of the bed caused a bit of trouble. Also, it's a nice bed. I don't care that it can become chairs, I just wanted something with rails like that, but maybe it'll bring us more use, who knows. Seems pretty strong. I could see how people can get cracks in wood and things like that if they overtighten gear. It would have been a bit more aesthetic if it came with caps covering the screws, but knowing my kid she would have taken them off so it's probably best not to.
