I purchased this kit solely to flare 3/16" cupro nickel brake lines. I have been using traditional double flare tools for 25 years and have never had a problem when beading. I've made several attempts at belling using different methods of preparation. Some beveled more than others, laying the ends square to the block each time and experimenting with beveling the inside diameter of the tube. They all came out the same. The instructions followed T. None of them even looked like a bubble flash. After 4 bubble flash attempts I tried the dual flash matrix and it actually worked quite well in the copper-nickel line. Next I tried it with a plated steel cord and the clamp block didn't even hold the cord I wouldn't recommend this tool n. I've attached a picture of the bells coming out.
