Review on Retro Glamour: DRESSTELLS Women'S Vintage Tutu Petticoat Skirt by Maria Aguillon

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bad seam work in my review

I am a designer/seamstress, so I can be harsh on some of these things. But usually hold back a bit. This though, if we didn't NEED crinoline last second I would have sent them back. Scratchiest fabric I have ever seen. Like the worst of them I have ever seen. My daughter wore it for three shows and it went into the school costume bin.More unfortunate than the fabric is the way it didn't really add any body to the skirt. It did add lumps though. Crooked seams on a stiff fabric showed horribly. But since it was for theater production that wasn't seen from about the fifth row.If you need it cheap and you need it fast. Mostly to make sure nothing is showing in those twirling skirt dances grab it up. Don't expect it to twirl though. I would not advise it for a longer engagement.

Pros
  • The skirt was ok just not the color I needed.
Cons
  • The petticoat might not be versatile enough to wear with multiple outfits
