Works perfectly. Used only for its intended purpose. Did a test patch for an allergic or negative reaction if needed and all was clear so I started every day for about 2 weeks with very little change from day to day. Desired color achieved in exactly 2 weeks and switched to care mode. I have white to gray hair all over my head. It was a light brown/blonde, which was (was) my natural hair color. Not very sharp dark brown. I leave it on for 60-90 seconds and rinse thoroughly. After the first few uses, I noticed that my nails were starting to suffer a bit, so around day 4 of my first use I started lathering this product and immediately washing my hands with a small amount of soap, paying special attention to mine nails and toenails. wash off while treating my hair for 60 to 90 seconds. Since I've made it a part of my routine, the nails don't discolor at all. I have short hair - usually less than an inch long - and it goes right into the scalp. I think this works great for me. I also found that this tube will last me about 2 months. I use about a dime shampoo in the palm of my hand and can get a full lather. I use my fingertips as usual but I added the hand washing routine as above and there were no other issues. I highly recommend this product.
